Backstage at my Provo home @velourlive being a roadie for my boys in @poolhouseband for the battle of the bands. Another band had this sweet Les Paul guitar so of course I had to roadie for them. Well done everyone! Long live local music and long live @velourlive taken in Velour Live Music Gallery by @bradybills

Had the wonderful opportunity to arrange and produce a hymn for a live performance/broadcast at the world famous Salt Lake Tabernacle. After listening to the hymns lyrics and message, I really wanted to do it with vocals. Im so grateful @hayhush accompanied me with her sweet spirit and voice. Her phrasing and tone is perfect.

This version will be made available in the Sacred Music App @churchofjesuschrist Special thanks to @raskguitars for always loaning me a pretty instrument

My beautiful daughters also came to see me play and my sweetheart @thejobailey bathed them all, got them all ready, fed and made the journey up herself so we could all be there. It was a great day.

The hymns lyrics talk about how we can endure darkness and hard times, whether brought our own fault or no fault of our own, by relying on Jesus Christ and how it can be “well with my soul” Enjoy my and Hush’s version of the classic hymn “It Is Well With My Soul” taken in Tabernacle, Temple Square, Salt Lake City, Utah by @bradybills

Two babies (couldn’t even grow beards yet 😂) wishing for world peace ✌️ ❤️‍🩹 On this 911 anniversary, I hope we can all remember to be kinder to one another and focus on our commonality as humans rather than what divides us. by @bradybills

I’ve loved this song since I was a child. It makes me imagine holding a warm chocolate chip cookie on a crisp fall day. Simple, comforting, and full of warmth.

For this recording, I layered two guitars with a soft synth pad and upright bass, trying to make each ingredient work together to capture that same warm, comforting feeling.

I hope this brings you a little comfort, hope, and warmth wherever you are and whatever you are going through in life. 🤍🎸
