Moving forward I’ll post show updates and new music alerts every couple weeks, but the other 28 days a month I’m going to be off social media. If you want to stay in touch, please text me and let’s catch up in real life. If catching up in person isn’t doable due to geography, please join my s*bstack. That’s where all of my online energy and writing will be directed from now on. I send weekly emails about life and music and I make playlists for you. I love talking w people there, so please join me. If you don’t know what that is, just dm me your email address and I’ll send you the weekly posts. It makes for light reading. Much love! by @bradyjohnsonmusic

Writing this tune was like getting in a time machine with leather interior and air conditioned seats. Echo Park made for a good home w some good folks and some damn fine bartenders. If we hung out during my Holloway days: hello and I thank you very much. 😘😘😘 by @bradyjohnsonmusic

I’ll be leaving in the morning
In the morning I’ll be gone
Just you try to stop me leaving
Babe I’ll love you all night long

Still makes Adelina smile

New Music Alert!
“Desert Water” is out now on Spotify. It is STRONG. Simple, elegant. The lyrical equivalent of one Mona Lisa. If I could hang it in the Louvre, I would. But all that’s nothing compared to what it may come to mean to you. by @bradyjohnsonmusic

Stop trying to do everything yourself.

One of the biggest myths about success is that you have to master every skill on your own.

The truth? The people you surround yourself with can elevate your work far beyond what you could achieve alone.

Build around your strengths. Trust talented people. Collaboration isn't a shortcut, it's a strategy.

What's one task you've learned to delegate so you can focus on what you do best?

There are a million things I remember from my life in Echo Park. The jasmine, the smog, the burritos, the bar (there was only as far I was concerned). A coffee shop with awful coffee and impeccable scones. Good people. And a pretty good ball club just a short walk down Vin Scully Blvd. I wrote “Morning Beers” to remember some of the things I loved most about the striving and the defeat that is life in LA

Thank you for the amazing times at the holloway and on the home front: @peoplejustsuck @joaqatron @willbire @tupac__tv @killebrew @jeffarichards @chadbaileywerner @mrmoonboot @gisellematisse and @crychristianwolf taken in The Holloway by @bradyjohnsonmusic

If you like this song and want more like it, take a look at my Kickstarter to support the recording of my second album. Even if it’s 10$, just knowing you took the time to back me means the absolute world. This journey isn’t worth taking alone, so why don’t you join us as we make more gold in the studio 😘🤠🪇 by @bradyjohnsonmusic

It started w a single verse in 2021. I added a second verse a year later, and the final verse came a year after that. Adeline was playing on a loop in the back of my mind for years and I must say, as songs go, she’s a fine companion. 😘 now, I’m happy to say, she’s out in the world all on her own. I’d love for you to meet her. Link in bio to listen 🤠🪇 by @bradyjohnsonmusic
