JUST SOLD | 5922 E Emile Zola Ave 🏡

Some closings mean more than a sold sign.

This one started back in April, and the road from there to today was anything but a straight line. There were unexpected turns, setbacks, difficult conversations, problems to solve, decisions to make, and more than a few moments that tested everyone’s patience.

And today, we closed. 🔑

This transaction reminded me that patience is key. That it’s never done until it’s done. That it truly takes a village, and having the right team around you means everything. And that great clients, who trust you even when the path gets complicated, make all the difference.

But more than anything, this one taught me about growth.

You don’t become a better agent because every transaction goes perfectly. You become better through the adversity. By working through the situations you didn’t anticipate. By staying in it when things get difficult. By learning, adjusting, advocating, communicating, and finding a way forward.

This transaction changed me as an agent, for the better. I’m genuinely thankful for everything it taught me 🙏🏻

Most of all, I’m thankful for my clients. Thank you for your trust, your patience, your partnership, and for allowing me to be part of this chapter.

Today isn’t really about the house that sold. It’s about closing one chapter and watching three great people move on to the next 🫶🏻

I couldn’t be happier for you gents, and I know there are great things ahead ❤️

A very happy buyer + a very happy seller!

I had the pleasure of helping some dear friends sell the custom home they have loved for the past two decades, while also helping an out-of-state buyer make Arizona home for the very first time.

This was one of those transactions where both sides truly understood what makes this home so special. While one chapter comes to a bittersweet close after 20 years of memories, another is just beginning, and I couldn’t be happier for both parties as they step into what’s next.

There’s something pretty special about handing the keys from someone who has deeply loved a home to someone who is just as excited to make it their own.

And a huge shoutout to @bradyorkaz for all his help getting this one to the finish line and for making it fun along the way!

Happy sellers. Happy buyers. A home well loved and ready for its next chapter.

New York, you never disappoint. 🗽🏙️

There’s something about this city that has always felt like a home to me (10 years in the city), and getting to share it with this group over the past several days made this trip especially meaningful.

Broadway. Great food. A lot of walking. A few (many great) cocktails. Old favorites and new discoveries. Views that never get old. And a whole lot of laughter with some pretty wonderful people.

Months of planning went into ABT Takes Manhattan 2026, but the best parts were the things you can’t really plan: watching people experience something for the first time, conversations over dinner, friendships being made, and simply enjoying New York together.

Our trip home may have decided to add one final unexpected act 😂, but that won’t be what I remember.

I’ll remember this.

Until next time, NYC. You still have my heart. 🗽🎭💜 by @bradyorkaz

JUST SOLD! 🏡

This one took a little longer and had a few more moving parts than most, including a contingent sale in Mexico with buyers making their way to the Valley of the Sun. A unique process, but absolutely worth it.

Excited for everyone involved, but especially for our clients J & S as they begin the next chapter and whatever adventures come with it.

Special thanks to Lyndsay @lyndsay.clark We’ll have to do this again soon! 🥂

Twenty-five years later, I will never forget September 11. Perhaps more importantly, I also remember who we were on September 12 🇺🇸🕊️🤍🗽

I had been in New York City for just over a year and a half, having arrived on January 5, 2000. I’ll never forget the beautiful blue sky that morning as I made my way to work at 125th Street and Riverside Drive.

What transpired in the hours after the first plane hit, we have all lived through and replayed in our minds thousands of times over the past 25 years.

Something I’ve heard often in recent days is that perhaps it is equally important to remember who we were on September 12 as it is to remember what happened on September 11.

I say that because who New Yorkers, and Americans across the country, became on September 12, 2001, is the very reason I decided New York was a place where I could build a life. We were a true melting pot of every skin color, religion, sexual orientation and political persuasion. Friends became family, and the city became a part of me that will remain for the whole of my life.

We all have to find ways to turn tragedy into triumph. I am who I am today because of everything that happened before September 11, everything that happened afterward, and my years in New York through January 2010.

Next Wednesday, I look forward to stepping foot once again in one of my favorite places as we bring 50 Arizona Broadway Theatre patrons to experience Broadway and the Big Apple. by @bradyorkaz

A round of drinks. A lot of unexpected messages. An open invitation to sit on the patio.

Kindness showed up in several very different ways for me this week.

At ABT’s After Dark Cabaret, a patron opened the bar and bought a round for everyone. Literally picked up the tab. 🥂 It was generous, certainly, but it was also a wonderfully inclusive gesture of appreciation for the cast, crew, and everyone gathered to enjoy the evening.

Kindness also arrived in the response to my decision to step away from the ABT Board. I was very intentional in saying that I am not moving away from ABT, but realigning my time, talent, and treasure around the work where I can be most useful. The acknowledgment, encouragement, and kindness I received were overwhelming.

And, closer to home, a neighbor who has become an important part of our Cambridge Crossing community is so often the first to extend an invitation to sit on the patio, connect, and acknowledge the many years we have shared here. The invitation itself is an act of kindness. A simple way of saying, “There is a place for you here.”

Kindness witnessed. Kindness received. Kindness offered.

All reminders that kindness does not need to be complicated to matter. And, perhaps more importantly, noticing it makes us consider where our own kindness is being expressed. 🤍

Where did you notice kindness this week?
