#grandcanyon #grandcanyonnationalpark 8.5/10 there is a reason it’s not called the mediocre canyon. Movies, videos and pictures fail to do it justice, every over look is a banger it’s Fleetwood Mac-Rumors of national parks. Unfortunately (fortunately) I didn’t get the northern rim, will do that in the fall. This is most well set up park I have seen, they have a freaking train that comes into the park. #tombstoneaz🌵 #towntotoughtodie got to spend some times in Tombstone, AZ. I am obsessed with the movie so it’s been a an awesome side quest. Got to see a gun fight reenactment, drink a few beers in The Oriental and even got to visit the OK Corral. Now I get to watch Tombstone while I am in Tombstone. Fun fact it’s widely believed here that Wyatt killed Ringo and not Doc Holiday, Wyatt confessed on his death bed and provided a map of where the body was found. taken in Tombstone Historic District by @bradywanders

#colossalcavemountainpark cool little side quest I stumbled upon. This cave is home to massive breeding populations of bats, unfortunately I didn’t see any I guess they are hanging out with elusive roadrunners. Deepest part is 70 feet below the surface and it stays 71 year around in there! taken in Colossal Cave Mountain Park by @bradywanders

#saguaronationalpark 5/10 who would of guessed large cactus are much cooler than small cactus! Nice chill park, fun to cruise around. The park is split in two east and west with Tucson right down the middle. I seen a roadrunner but was unable to get a photo, while I was pulling out my photo it looked me dead in the eye and said “beep beep” and vanished in a puff of dust. taken in Saguaro National Monument West by @bradywanders

#petrifiedforest 4/10 The Petrified Forest is underwhelming to say the least. It’s not worth the drive and short window it is open 8 am to 5 pm takes away the best times to visit a park sunrise and sunset. The petrified wood was interesting, and there is a brief explanation in my last photo. I did get to drive some of the legendary Route 66! taken in Petrified Forest National Park by @bradywanders

#zionnationalpark 7.5/10 first “major” national park I’ve visited, it’s on almost everyone’s top ten. The amount of people proved that, first time I had trouble finding parking. I really enjoyed it but I think seeing the other “mighty five” parks first knocked back a little of the awe factor. It was a bit too hot to do a couple of the hikes I wanted, may revisit in the fall or winter. taken in Zion National Park by @bradywanders
