Happy New Year, my loves!!! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to get your new-new on 💃🏿🕺🏿

My New Year’s resolution for Braids By Jane is to continue creating a space where my clients feel welcomed and at home. Where we can fellowship and pour into each other, strengthening our community one hairstyle at a time.

I love this clip of Chioma and I being silly because it captures the parts of this business that I’m most proud of. The tenderness, kindness and unseriousness that I share with my clients. This is black girlhood and I pray the following generations continue to experience this kind of joy 🥹💖

Alsoooo the texture of her shirt was sooooo fire, I don’t even know how to explain it but it was like super intricate origami or something idkkk but I loved it!

Soft Locs 🤝🏿 Soft Life 🌸

Finally got my girl to step out her comfort zone with this colour omggggg I Loooooove!!! And we didn’t use shine n jam or anything either, just hair grease and chattering 😭

Side Note: Thank you Ungwa for being such a blessing in my life over these past few years. God has used you in ways you may not even be aware of, sis 😪 but I’m grateful to have been given the opportunity to watch you blossom and grow. Never a dull freaking moment with you 😂 You’ve really helped strengthen my faith especially when this business was whooping my behind. Braids By Jane is hosting a raffle of sorts for Lucky Braidtember —bare with me, this is a working title 🤭

Here’s how it will work!

Every person who books a September appointment, from now until August 31st, will be entered into a draw.

The winner of this draw will have their entire remaining balance waived!

***In order to secure a booking and be entered into the draw, a $40 deposit needs to be sent via etransfer to Jane.nyroub@gmail.com
