A study in sculptural geometry. The architecture of Hotel Essenciel in Brittany, France, features stacks of metal pods with elliptical apertures, rising as contemporary, biomorphic forms against the landscape of Piré-Chancé.

🛸 This is the Shining Hat Expo Hall in Osaka, designed by @toyo_ito_architects . The structure manages to look incredibly massive yet completely weightless at the same time.A seamless blend of retro-futurism and minimalist design. by @brain._.archives

Fishing Pocket Sonar (1998) - @nintendo released some crazy peripheral accessories for their consoles over the years but I think this is probably the most niche one. It uses a transducer bobber attached to a special cartridge, allowing fishermen to detect fish at depths of up to 20 meters (approx. 65 feet) using active sonar, displaying data on the Game Boy screen. taken in Gone Fishing by @brain._.archives
