It’s been a pleasure it handle press and radio for ‘What Does It Take To Bloom?’ , the incredible new album from @somimusic .

Throughout her celebrated career, (which includes collaborations with Hugh Masakela, and being the only African woman to be nominated for a GRAMMY in a Jazz category) Somi has built a catalogue rooted in place. Previous projects have drawn inspiration from Lagos, Harlem and the enduring legacy of Miriam Makeba, examining migration, memory and belonging through a distinctly global lens. On What Does It Take To Bloom? However, the focus shifts inward. Written and recorded between Dakar, Lagos, Paris and New York City, while Somi also established roots in Nairobi, the album emerged during a period of profound personal and creative transition. After years immersed in theatre and multidisciplinary performance, she found herself returning to songwriting as a way of reconnecting with the artistic practice that first defined her voice. What followed became an exploration of wholeness, healing and transformation.

Very happy to have handled radio for @markbarrott_official ‘s beautiful new album The Exit Diaries, released via @anjunachill 🌊

Moving between ambient composition, jazz-inflected atmospheres, orchestral grandeur, Balearic warmth and cinematic electronics, the record is one of Mark’s most expansive and evocative works to date.
Written between Ibiza and the wider emotional landscapes surrounding the album, The Exit Diaries is a record shaped by changing light, Sunday mornings, reflection and renewal.

Very pleased to have looked after the radio campaign for @poppyackroyd ‘s beautiful new album, ‘Liminal’.

Written during a period of profound upheaval and transition, Liminal marks a return to the piano and violin at the heart of Poppy’s music. Built entirely from the sounds of those two instruments, it’s an intimate, deeply human record that explores endurance, transformation and finding moments of light after difficult times.

It’s been brilliant to hear the record finding a home across @bbc6music , @bbcradio3 , @nts_radio @worldwide.fm @rinse.fm @913wyep @wxpnfm @radio1prague @kexp and plenty more.

A project I’m particularly proud of.

Over the past few months I’ve been working with @juju_rogers_official on ‘Pink Guitars, Spaceships N Voodoo Dolls’ — a record that pulls together hip-hop, punk, hardcore, soul, rock and funk while exploring themes of Black identity, self-determination and personal growth.

Alongside international press and radio promotion, this campaign involved project management, DSP delivery, sample clearance and release strategy from the ground up.

It’s been great to play a part in bringing this one into the world and to work with an artist who knows exactly what he wants to say.

Always grateful when clients trust me with projects that go far beyond the traditional press and radio brief.

Thanks to production extraordinaire @dhan.y.a for bringing me into the fold. A pleasure to work with the excellent @kupfiii & Goetz at @opendistribution.eu on bringing this to the world.

After all this time, today is the day!
My new album „Pink Guitars, Space Ships and Voodoo Dolls“ is OUT NOW via @counter_kultur!
I’m deeply grateful for this journey and for everything that unfolded along the way. Grateful for the people who believed in this vision, supported it, trusted it, and helped bring it to life.
I’m proud of myself for making the radical decisions, facing the challenges, and continuing to push through again and again.
This album created moments of truth I’ll carry forever — from tears of joy to the deepest pain. Every lesson, every emotion, every experience led to this moment.
And now, it’s finally here and I can let it go… I give thanks.

Today with great pleasure we unveil the second single from @divorce.from.new.york ‘s forthcoming Jazzthetics EP.

‘Broken Heart’ launches with a choppy break and elevational keys, as the spiritual sound of @carlalunatica ‘s vocals lifts the track skywards. Elusive UK underground hero @k15music turns in a stripped back remix, bringing a new spectral, yet soulful beauty to the original.
