PTSD is a bitch. There’s no running or hiding from it. You can’t burry it bc it lives inside you. Where you can’t seem to find the line where you end and it begins. Unwanted visitations during peaceful moments. Have dealt with it badly before..but it’s time to address it with care and attentiveness..not easy.

Been a really long minute… tried to sketch daily which led to watercolor and then to wanting perfection which ruined the whole idea of trying to let my subconscious run free. It’s weird how we grasp for perfection. But I think that gets in the way of creating something beautiful for others.. or myself ? Finding your reflection through a lens of a personality disorder feels like insanity…. A delusion mixed with false hope at times. But here I remain. Delusional and hopeful to find peace for the inner child in the present day 🫀🫀🫀

“La flor y espinas“. Our mom used to tell us, “ I’m the thorns so you can be the flowers”. Little did she realize she was manifesting our own thorns to breach through our skin as we got older. Going through my own journey in mental illness I’m learning to forgive and accept that I am both the thorn and flower. That growth and the work it comes with is never ending..not that it’s bad but that it’s an opportunity to end a cycle that’s been passed down for generations.

Stuck in a Constant battle..haven’t created much let alone post the things I’ve created. I’m hating the idea that I NEED to post constantly to “stay relevant “ to create a marketable theme for my page or my art or what I am…This tattoo is the last thing I drew that feels worth posting. With the help of @geselletattoos it’s a beauty come to life. Thank you again !!

Tiring.

There’s a lot of work to be done even though you feel like you’ve done so much. How your past and present self meet feels like a no mans land. A dense fog when you try to figure out who you want to be in the future and how you want to protect your inner child. This work isn’t my whole life but it’s consumed most of it. It has left me confused as I try to find answers. More questions, more self doubt, more toil while dancing back and forth. I’ll keep doing the work, till the day I cant bc this brain of mine is my own and it’s here to stay.
