Congratulations to BrainScope President Laurie Silver on being named the AI Champion in Washington Business Journal’s 2026 Innovators in Healthcare awards.

Laurie was one of just 12 honorees selected by the WBJ newsroom, recognizing Greater Washington’s clinical and business leaders working to solve some of healthcare’s biggest challenges. She accepted the award on behalf of BrainScope last week at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner.

At BrainScope, we are tackling a fundamental gap in medicine: the brain remains the last major vital organ without a widely available, objective measure of its function. Cardiology has the ECG. Neurology has never had its equivalent.

BrainScope is working to change that.

Our FDA-cleared neurotechnology platform applies AI to EEG — the brain’s electrical activity — to provide objective information about brain health in minutes, at the point of care. And we are building on that foundation to extend the platform across neurological conditions and throughout the brain-health continuum.
