Our whole story in 40 seconds… kind of.

We’re on a mission to use outdoor storytelling to spark sustainable change.

We’ve been at this for a while now, and 2026 already has some projects we’re really looking forward to posting.

If you’re into conservation, adventure, and meaningful stories, follow along and grow with us.

Can anglers help to bring threatened fish back?

Sometimes, we’re our own worst enemy. But as anglers, we can also be the first line of defense for the fisheries we love.

It starts with responsible fishing, knowing the regulations, handling fish properly, and getting involved beyond the river. Volunteer, support conservation groups, and get to know organizations like @midcolumbiafish doing the work on the ground.

We care deeply about these resources. It’s up to us to help protect them.

Cold and clear water, old growth forests, and some of the wildest landscapes in the West. Chasing bull trout took us deep into places that remind you why wild rivers are worth protecting.

We spent 8 nights in bull Trout country to tell this story, and it’s one we’re pretty proud of.

When a stream starts drying up, juvenile bull trout can become stranded in isolated pools with nowhere to go. These small rescue efforts can make a big difference for the future of an already threatened species.

We had the opportunity to join @midcolumbiafish in the field and help tell this important conservation story. We were honored to be part of it and get a firsthand look at the work happening to protect these incredible fish.

For @martin_gerdin_glass an annual trip chasing bull trout became more than a fishing trip. It was a chance to step away from the noise, find some solitude, and reconnect with himself. A place to reset, reflect, and start seeing life a little differently.

As cheesy as it sounds, sometimes getting lost in the wild really does help you find your way back.

Bull trout are more than just a bucket-list fish. They’re a reminder of why protecting our coldwater fisheries matters.
~
In Huk’s newest film, Where the Bulls Still Swim, filmmaker Eric Braker and angler and artist Martin Gerdin head into the backcountry to chase these elusive native fish and tell the story of the people working to protect them.
~
We sat down with Eric for our latest Behind the Lens feature to talk about bringing the film to life, the importance of bull trout conservation, and why connecting people to wild places is key to protecting them for the future.

We put a bounty on this fish and now it is a threatened species.

Bull trout were once seen as the bad guys. Blamed for declining fish populations, they were actively killed while the rivers they called home were being dammed, degraded, and destroyed.

Now, they’re threatened. And their story is a pretty good reminder that sometimes we’re looking at the wrong problem.

We made this film with @hukgear and @martin_gerdin_glass to tell the story of these incredible fish and the wild places they depend on.

The greatest fishing buddy of all time.

This clip is from our newest short film “Where the Bulls Still Swim.” Link in bio to check it out and show Lasso some love!

They talk about heart dogs, and you only get one.

This is @martin_gerdin_glass fishing partner.

For 10 years, Lasso has been at Martins side for nearly every bull trout he’s ever caught. He watches the rod tip, studies the dry fly, and the moment the truck gets packed he’s already underneath it, refusing to be left behind.

Lasso made one more trip into bull trout country, his favorite place.

These native fish are often described as the wolves of the river.

Bull Trout are apex predators in their home waters and act as an indicator species meaning their survival tells us a lot about the health of the rivers they call home.

We teamed up with @martin_gerdin_glass and @hukgear to tell their story. Watch the full film at the link in our bio.
