a love note to one of my best friends,

Mimi! Mir! Miriam!
I’ve been thinking of writing this post for nearly 2 weeks but no amount of words would encapsulate my love and appreciation to have a best friend like you in my life. Our friendship came at the perfect timing when I felt like I had no community or even close friends in college. Little did I know talking to a random girl at pancakes about karaoke song choices would turn into a lifelong friendship. You’ve seen the many phases of my faith in college but ultimate the growth in myself. Most importantly, I’ve loved seeing you chase after the awe of God daily with you surrendering your strength to him. Little did we know this would be aiding you to be strengthen as you’ve moved back to Nashville! I wouldn’t change the last 5 years for anything. From walking the stage together, sitting on the couch reading, competitive games, random dancing, car rides, long conversations and just sitting in silence together. I love you very much. Nashville take of my BFF.

Three words to describe Year 2 of ministry: transition, elevate and discovery.

Transition as I transitioned on a new ministry team this year, transitioned into a new discipleship model of our weekly bible study groups, and most of all transition to a new work space with the opening of our new building.

Elevate from the year before. With returning to Communications and Synergy, I knew I could do a rinse and repeat but the challenge was what’s the next step to elevate. From designing merch this year, creating promotional plans for Dirty Laundry and other promo opportunities. Elevating the faith of individuals who I get to mentor one on one but even my own faith walk.

Diving deep into the core of who I am, but who God intended me to be to walk in to my God given identity but walk in my spiritual gifting. We did a deep dive on spiritual gifts what a revelation to understand how I am called to do ministry with my gifting. GAME CHANGER truly! by @bramblit
