It held the #1 Most Heard spot on 1001Tracklists all summer long, became one of the most played records at Tomorrowland, and is one of the most Shazamed tracks globally. 🌎

This absolute hard hitter gained live support from literally hundreds of DJs, including Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack, Alok, Diplo, Maddix, CamelPhat, Cloonee, MORTEN, Cassian, Eli Brown, Chris Lake, Adriatique and many more.

Inside the stem mastering process for @avalanrokston ‘In My Arms’

The bassline needed more width and size without losing punch in the center.❗️

Instead of simply widening it, I generated extra harmonics around 400 Hz and treated mid and side differently.

The mid got a narrower boost to reinforce the center, while the sides got a much wider and stronger harmonic lift to create more perceived stereo size.

Both were blended in parallel to keep the original bass tone intact.

At the same time, I dynamically expanded the kick and bass together by around 0.7 dB in the mid using Low End Focus in Punchy mode.

↔️ More width on the sides.
⬇️ More punch in the center.

Wide where it needs width. Focused where it needs impact.
