I’m thrilled to share that my design for Hamlet at the University of Central Arkansas was selected for the official U.S. exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial 2027, in the Czech Republic!

The PQ is kind of like the World Cup for performance design. Every four years since 1967, countries from around the world come together to showcase some of the best performance design being created in their countries to an international audience.

Side by Side by Sondheim

Happy opening to the cast and crew of Side by Side by Sondheim, the final show of the Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s 50th Anniversary Season, and my last one as Resident Scenic Designer.

This summer has been such an incredible joy. I had the chance to work alongside so many talented artists from across the country, build new friendships, and reconnect and collaborate with old friends along the way. Thank you so much, The Rep, for such a special season.

This show is a celebration of Sondheim, but for me, it has also been a celebration of collaboration and especially the opportunity to work again with my former Penn State colleagues, Chris and Michael.

What a wonderful way to close out the season!

The Remarkable Resignation of Dr. Joycelyn Elders; or Condom Queen

Written and directed by Steve H. Broadnax III.

This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Not only did I have the privilege of collaborating to bring Dr. Joycelyn Elders’ story to the stage, but I also had the opportunity to meet Dr. Elders and Coach Oliver in person, and to witness the August 13 proclamation officially establishing Dr. Joycelyn Elders Day.
What an inspiring story, legacy, and experience. Thank you, Dr. Elders, for sharing your story with us.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Inspired by the visual language of 90s video games, we created a colorful, playful, and pixelated world for Joseph. Two mobile platforms move around the stage, creating different spaces and helping build each new scene.

First show of the season. First of five. What a beautiful way to begin.

What an honor to be the resident scenic designer for Arkansas Repertory Theatre @arkansasrep ’s 50th Anniversary Season, and what a joy to help tell the story of these amazing women.

So grateful to work under the generous and thoughtful guidance of Christine O’Grady @cogrobs, whose care and love for these characters made this process so joyful, and alongside my favorite costume designer @mikerofibers, our third collaboration together. What a treat!

Este primeiro espetáculo é baseado no filme dos anos 80 com Julia Roberts e Dolly Parton.
