Proud of this kid.

@oakley.cooperr moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to join Halifax Wanderers @wanderersdevelopment in April.

New province, new city, new teammates, new coaches, new club. Jumped right in, engaged with youth coaching in the community and local grassroots football camps, travelled the province for school visits and events on behalf of the club, took part in first team training, u21 games, u18 games and the International Summer Series vs Nottingham Forest’s English Premier League Academy in Newfoundland and PEI.

Living with pros, learning to fend for himself, making new friends, all while finishing high school online and chasing a dream. He’ll be back there in the fall, but for now I’m glad he’s home and excited to watch him continue to grow. taken in Halifax, Nova Scotia by @brandocoop

Portugal 🇵🇹
Pre Match Stadium March
Round of 32 Match 83

Completely insane gathering for the pre match stadium march for Portugal. Off the chart vibes, goosebump inducing scenes. The World Cup in Toronto has been nothing short of magical. Never, ever did I think I would see and experience something like today in Canada. Incredible, and I didn’t even attend this dramatic knockout match, just took in the revelry around it. The last few weeks have been a dream come true.

It’s not often you get quality like this in the mail. Extremely fortunate to have gotten an advance copy of my friend Josh Greenberg‘s new book, The Record Keepers. This labour of love is chock full of beautiful photos, vibrant stories and extensive history from some of the most interesting and important independent record stores across Canada, told by the people behind them.

I’ll be hosting the launch event for this beautiful volume of vinyl history at @cafedomestiique 102 King St West, Dundas. Join us on July 6th, at 7pm where we’ll hear from the author himself, as well as some very special guests. If you love records and the stories that accompany finding them you won’t want to miss what will be a special evening in the Valley Town.

In the meantime you can find out more about the book at https://www.therecordkeepers.ca/ taken in Café Domestiique by @brandocoop

My people are 17!

My love for both of them knows no bounds. Incredibly proud of the people they are becoming and constantly amazed at their growth, humour, ambition and humility. I am fortunate to have them in my life and know enough not to take that for granted. 17 years in what seems like the blink of an eye and doing my best to soak up every moment. Happy Birthday to my twin homies.
