After A LOT of hours put into this short documentary…I present, The Lost Angle ✨

The video is LIVE (link in bio)

This is the first documentary that I’ve done outside of the 3-5 minute range and certainly the first to include some deeper historical and archival elements as the primary visuals.

When we got to sit down with Grit City Magazine to discuss this project, it was equally exciting as it was nerve wracking because the way the story needed to be translated to video was a daunting task to work on.

I’m so happy with how it turned out! The team that helped pull this off was so much fun to work with!

Enjoy this Meraki Film :)

Got to escape for a minute to sit by the river and find some cool mushrooms. Thank you @dudeloren for always getting me outside of my routines to just create and have fun. It means so much to be able to share these moments with! taken in Planet Earth by @brandon12hendricks

Thank you to all who came out to see our one act play! It means a lot to us 🥹 For those of you that don’t know, it was our first scripted production, and our first original production at @lumoratheatre 😲

It was an incredible pleasure to be a part of this piece of art. Sal truly tapped into the muses for this one. Then he committed his energy to it. So we all did. Because of that, it became pure magic 🪄✨Everything fell right into place throughout the process, all the way down to butts in seats. Thank you butts. Thank you seats. Thank you music. Thank you Heath. Thank you Tacoma. 🙏🏻

We filmed it so those of you that missed it will have a chance to witness it (although in a less magical way in my opinion). Anyways, loved this project. So gratifying. It was also cool to be nudged into thinking about my mortality through this. We all gon die! Friendship is important. Focus on the strange & nuanced & blatant goodness about life, and send it with love. We get to do this! “Don’t die! Live!” - encouraging words from Hank R.I.P. ❤️‍🔥

Support the arts!

DON’T DIE is a dark comedy about what happens when a man who has spent his entire life trying to avoid death is forced to confront it face-to-face. Tim has built a carefully controlled, isolated life devoted to health, longevity, and minimizing risk—until Hank, a recently deceased mechanic who inexplicably appears in his home, turns his world upside down. As the two strangers spend an unexpected night together, their conversations about family, friendship, love, childhood, and regret slowly force Tim to question whether his fear of dying has kept him from truly living. Funny, heartbreaking, and unexpectedly hopeful, DON’T DIE is a story about the strange ways people find each other, the moments that make a life meaningful, and the things we risk missing when we’re too afraid of what comes next.
