I’m officially doing van life.When I was in South Africa last year, I felt God calling me into this lifestyle. And if you know me im the most spontaneous person ever, So when I got home, I bought a van and spent March through August building it out completely on my own (a little help from the folks ) — with zero construction experience. It took countless 12-hour days, tons of learning, and honestly a lot of blood, sweat, and tears… but we did it.And since September, I’ve been calling her home.This is Sally — my 2021 Ram ProMaster 3500 and my home for the foreseeable future. I live in her, travel in her, and work out of her. I’m beyond excited to see where God takes sally and I in 2026.I promise van-life content is coming soon…but for now, here she is! by @brandonbural

Two years ago my life changed in Yosemite.As I’m writing this I’m parked in a van I built with my hands, back in a place that changed my life. It’s hard to put into words how grateful I feel. Two years ago, I sat in this same valley looking around at all the van lifers. I remember thinking what a dream it would be to live life like that: free and untethered. told myself, “One day I’ll be back and I’ll be living in a van”At the time, that felt impossible.Just a few months before, I had lost the only future I’d ever planned for. I spent my whole life working toward playing college basketball. Then, in late 2023, an injury took that away And I- found myself lost, broken, confused, and angry with God. a future I poured my entire life into suddenly disappeared. After a lot of prayer, I made the decision to walk away from basketball. the months that followed were some of the hardest of in my life.Until May of 2024 when everything changed. A good friend and I went on a three-week, 10,000-mile road trip, and somewhere along the way, we found ourselves here in Yosemite. This was one of the first places I picked up a camera. Something inside of me unlocked that day and I was catapulted into my love of filmmakingThat one moment changed the direction of my life. It opened the door for me to spend seven incredible months in South Africa doing mission work, loving on kids, sharing Jesus, and watching God completely reshape my heart. For the first time in a long time, I felt I had a purpose, hope, and excitement for the future. When I got home, I had two goals: transform a van into my home, and do filmmaking full-time. I spent the next seven months building out the van completely by myself. It challenged me in every way possible and taught me things I never knew I was capable of. Once the first goal was accomplished, I poured everything I had into learning filmmaking, and in September of 2025, I stepped into it full-time. Continued below 👇🏻 by @brandonbural
