The Fed hiked rates the other week for the first time in 3 years.

First, understand the fed target rate and mortgage rates aren’t tied to each other but do move in similar directions.

Second, if you are in the market for a new home, do you know what a change in rate does to your monthly payment?

Lastly and most importantly, we need to realize THIS is the market we have been in and will continue to be in for the foreseeable future.

Affordability is the main thing I focus on with all my buyers. I also try to point out the positives because many young people I speak with are doing well above average but because of the social media world we live in, they believe they are behind. by @brandoncarus
