Placement testing ✍🏾

I’ve wanted this tattoo for years but never pulled the trigger

My middle name is Jamal, which means ‘beauty’ or handsomeness in Arabic. I had a friend of mine write it out for me and then turned it into a tattoo stencil. Placed it in the middle of my throat as a bold reminder that beauty can also be a sort of noose if you let it control you. And as someone who felt more awkward than beautiful most of their life I want to remind myself that I am beautiful always, even when I don’t feel or see it myself. by @brandonjamal_
