Some sappy, yet necessary reflections:
TLDR: Never give up. 💪

For those that know, this past year delivered some big career disappointments. I took major life chances that ultimately did not work out. I found myself unemployed, living back with my parents (thank you mom and dad ❤️) and really unsure what the next step would be. Some suggested, “do you want to try something other than acting?” … what 😐

Nah, not a bone in my body was ready for that. I’ve been auditioning professionally since high school and I still feel like I have so much left to experience. There is no better rush of joy than performing - the freedom on stage, the connection with an audience, the storytelling, the community, the building of an ensemble, etc. How could I deny what I know I was meant to do?

So, I decided to lead with hope and just keep going. I immediately jumped back into auditioning, training, and saying “yes, and?” to every possibility.🥹

Just because one door closes, doesn’t mean another one will automatically open. YOU have to open the door. Energy is everything⚡️

I am grateful everyday to the Drunk Shakespeare team for bringing me onboard. I love this cast and crew ❤️

In February 2020, I booked a co-star role on my dream show - The Other Two on HBO Max!! AND NOW IT’S HERE!!! 🎉

Catch me in three scenes in Season 2, Ep. 3✨

Literally, I’ve been OBSESSED with The Other Two since it first came out in 2019. It’s a New York City comedy with the perfect blend of hilarious characters and spot-on pop culture references.❤️

The Fools are published! ✨ Excited to share that Matthew A.J. Gregory and I were interviewed for Commedia dell’Arte: Contemporary Practitioners, curated by David Bridel and Fabio Motta!! 🎭🎉

It’s an honor to be included alongside so many master teachers and artists in the field. We are extremely proud of the work that The Department of Fools has created and grateful to contribute to the ongoing conversation around Clown, Commedia, physical comedy, and actor training.
