I wholeheartedly believe that website contact forms need more attention. When they don't work (or worse - it looks like they do, but they send submissions nowhere), that can mean missed enquiries and potential clients slipping through the cracks. When designing contact forms, I focus on: - Keeping the form simple and easy to complete - Asking only for the information that’s actually needed - Making sure the form works as expected, with clear success and error messages - Clarifying which fields are mandatory vs. optional - Making the whole process feel consistent with the wider brand It's often the first step towards working with clients, so why do we often push it back on our priority lists? While most of my client projects take 2–6 months, some brands form and refine over years, maturing like a fine wine. Sculpt belongs to the latter category—and I’m super excited to finally share the core identity of a project we’ve been working on since 2023. The idea was pretty clear from the start. But I really enjoyed continuously shaping the brand alongside the actual builder as it slowly came to life. Being in charge of both the brand and the UX/UI of the entire product has been a real honour. If you think this is boring and repetitive — I agree, 100%. Let me explain why; spend a weekday with me as a designer in Manchester, UK 🇬🇧 I like to look at my life as bigger "phases": I’m either at home or I'm travelling somewhere. As much variety and spontaneity as I live with while travelling, I do the complete opposite when I’m at home, making up for the routine I’m missing while on the road. When I’m home, I like to block my time into chunks of a few hours and dedicate each one to a specific task. It helps me create structure, work efficiently and get a lot done, so I can properly enjoy my time outside of work. How about you?
