The check always came back negative. Another year where I told myself, "This one also passed by without anything happening." A heaviness on my chest, every single time. Mixed with a low hum of anxiety I got used to carrying. At 30, I'm co-founding my first company. The last 6 months looked like this: → Countless meetings with my co-founder → Building our brand strategy from scratch → Naming and taglining the business → Designing our visual identity → Shooting our brand photos → Registering the company → Setting up payment gateways → Hiring a website designer → Building out every touchpoint, one by one I've learned setting up a company is no joke. Coming from a middle-class Bengali family, this is a bigger leap than it might look from the outside. What makes it easier, my co-founder is my childhood friend. He was freelancing, wanted to build an agency, and didn't want to do it alone. I didn't overthink it. I said yes. No safety net. No fallback plan. Just years of sales experience at Byju's, Simplilearn, Otomeyt, and vHub.ai and a stubborn belief. Today, that belief has a name.
