we didn’t just meet her! but she drew maxine after amy asked her to draw her dog & when it was my time to meet her i told her how much her music has meant to me, her response was she gave me a hug with two open arms.
told her we’d see her for halloween and she asked me what im going to be and i told her someone from lost boys like kiefer and she smiled, laughed & said see you there!
also don’t mind the no phones policy, pretty nice feeling.

goodbye 2025 • hello forever.

ever since i was a little boy breakfast at tiffanys was always my favorite movie, i knew the wedding ring id get my significant other would be from @tiffanyandco.
im grateful and fortunate to meet that someone, where i was always hopeful in the past with you it wasn’t just a hope that it would happen one day, it was a real, honest and pure it would.
you make me feel that this is just how life is not forcing anything, it just is and we’re both living it each day by day.
i know my brother would approve of you and not just know, i feel it just like you’ve told me your dad would approve of me.
words that hold dear to me in my very heart and soul. i believe with every ounce of me that forces beyond us helped get us here.
i love you & norm with all my heart and you being there for me during the tough months this past year is something i will never forget and only want to be the best version of myself moving forward.
so once upon a time in hollywood, i chose to propose to you on top of the hollywood sign because whenever we’re driving around LA and you see it when you look up, watching a movie that has it in a scene. i want you to know that, i went down on one knee up there for you on top of the hollywood sign because i love you @amesjay6 with all my heart and i couldn’t picture my life without you & norm - pun intended.
here’s to 2026 with you and beyond.

It was a honor to meet you sir, if you asked me why ive traveled across the world since i was able to get a passport the first time. answer id give you would be my brother and the second would be this man. i woke up crying this morning after hearing the news because they passed under the same circumstance. suicide is a health issue we can help others with. don’t underestimate our ability to help one another, i think we’ve forgotten that recently. im grateful i met him because i wanted to shake his hand and thank him for inspiring me to get out there and see what the world has to offer me. i did, thank you @anthonybourdainfanclub taken in LACMA Los Angeles County Museum of Art by @brandyalexander

there really is no other place in LA id rather be celebrating my birthday dinner than at @mussoandfrankgrill, this place continues to effortlessly be a special place in my heart, from the wonderful company, the history, the service and the attention to detail that makes this night special.
you’ve made this man smile as soon as
he walked through the door.

also we got the last order of onion rings of the night

this is 40

been feeling anxious about turning 40 the past month and now that we are here, i feel grateful and ready to tackle this new decade.
i aspire to be intentional in my choices, i feel i have a lot more to take care of but also a lot more always in my corner.
i want to walk this next decade with purpose and drive. this year was the year i got off all my medications, i feel like me again yet a little more reserved and im fine with that.
i don’t want to be the loudest one in the room anymore, since i was little my mom use to tell me i would inspect everything before even speaking - inspecting my surroundings before i say a thought - that’s what I want to be these days.
i love @amesjay all the hard times ive been through the last years the challenges of not knowing if i would ever get back to a place where i didn’t feel like my world was collapsing was due to her & norm.
in a sea of waves she mellowed them down slowly to just brushes pushing against the shore back to a place i could function again.
been seeing a lot of white butterflies this month, since my brother passed i always believed that him visiting was represented with white butterflies so i know he’s with me on this day as well.
nothing in this life is without challenges but with challenges comes lessons we learn and strive to use those to get a little better along the way.
the only one who can tell you, you don’t deserve something is you & i truly believe we all deserve the best there is - life is short, people are here today and gone tomorrow.
be proud of the life you are living, the people you let in your life and the direction your life is going.
much love to everyone going to continue enjoying my birthday with two of the best to ever do it!

if you told me that seeing @yeahyeahyeahs at one of my favorite movie theatres premiering their own short film and playing five songs feet away from us was in my bingo card i wouldn’t have believed you.

YYYS have always had a special place in my heart, discovering this band while watching MTV and the MAPS music video comes on and that was it, from then on ive been a admirer of their sound, art and essence.

@amesjay6 surprised me with tickets to this because your boy was snoozing when tickets went on sale & im grateful she got them because what came out of it was an experience not an event, we will remember for all time.

also met spike jonze and chatted with him a bit, told him how much HER means to me, shook his hand and told him we’ve met a decade ago which made him smile and then we started talking about the concert we met back then.
