I always like finding a good reason to dig through my archives…this one was particularly fun:

Happy birthday to @brani_high

We met in the late 90’s, both still living with our parents. Soon after I moved out and Brane would be swinging by my apartment on a regular basis. Thing was he didn’t have a car so I had to pick him up and drive him back home if he felt like coming by:) I was mainly traveling - following the snow - making snowboard movies and when I started organizing the premieres for our Absinthe Films movies he’d borrow the Audi from his dad and drive me. Brane would meet the entire international snowboard scene and everybody wondered who he was - as they never saw him in the snow:) Of course it didn’t take long until he’d be a more then welcomed friend and became part of the crew.

13 years ago it looked like he’d move to New York where I could not have visited him anymore…but soon after Uncle Sam sent him back (much to my liking) to Zurich. A city that is too small for Brane but at least he became the godfather of our son to make up for it 👻

To many more years of Bra(i)ne-massages full of laughters
