Our “Queen” Linda Brantley Davis/Mom/Gi, earned her angel wings yesterday. She was our Momma. She was our daddy’s best friend and the love of his life. She was the grandmother of our children, who they adored and called “Gi”. She was the great grandmother of their children.

She loved us fiercely. Not only did she love “us”, the love she showed to and for countless other people is a legacy that is undeniable and will live on in the hearts of so many people for years to come.

She made anyone who she came in contact with feel special. Nothing she did was about her. She spent her whole life fighting for the underprivileged and was an activist for civil rights and equality. From the time she was a little girl she was a trail blazer and what a trail she blazed.

From Azalea Trail Queen, to the Linda Davis show on local television, to taking her grandchildren to downtown Mobile to museums and teaching them the history of the place where she grew up, to book author of “A Touch of Pink”. She found beauty in everything and everyone she encountered. She chose love over hate, positivity over negativity, and stood up and fought for what she believed in. She showed kindness to everyone even when life was not so kind to her. She never complained and she never stopped smiling.

Her impact in this world and the people who knew her will never ever be forgotten. We love you Momma. The Azaleas will forever bloom for you! 🌺🩷

Starting to get really emotional and sad so here it goes. Thank you to HPU for lots of laughter, growth, knowledge, memories, and most of all my best friends. Thank you to all of my friends, teammates, professors, and family for supporting me in so many ways through these past four years. I am happy to announce that I will be returning home to attend the University of Alabama School of Law⚖️🐘❤️
