⭐️INTRODUCING 2026 500X MEMBERS⭐️

Christina Bridges Glover is an interdisciplinary sculptor based in North Texas. Their work explores PTSD, memory, and time through abstraction, drawing visual and conceptual connections between Art Nouveau architecture, early projection-based diagnostic tools, and the body’s relationship to nature. Using monochromatic palettes of black, white, and silver, they create inkblot-inspired forms that invite viewers to project their own experiences onto the work.

They have exhibited in a range of gallery contexts, from artist-run and experimental spaces to established galleries, both nationally and throughout the state of Texas. Christina also graduated this past fall from the University of North Texas where they received their BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Sculpture. Since 2025 Christina has maintained a studio practice at 1226 Studios @ Artspace 111 in Fort Worth, where they actively produce new work and engage with the local arts community. They are currently completing “Endless Tread”, a permanent public art commission for the City of Lewisville that will be installed off of N. Mill Street in late March 2026.

Helix Delivery 🌀🛞 For my upcoming public art project “Endless Tread” for the City of Lewisville, I worked with engineer AJ Kuhn on the structural engineering of the piece, which resulted in the decision to fabricate three steel helixes that will be assembled together to form the interior structure. We had them fabricated by Albina Co. in Tualatin, Oregon, and they arrived on a big truck today! Fabrication will continue for a couple more months, but we’ll begin welding these guys as early as this week. I’m so excited about this monumental step in the project and can’t wait to get into the nitty-gritty of fabrication. Thank you so much again to AJ (@kuhndesignllc), Alicia (@aplaceintheuniverse), Jacob (@j.m.phillips), and my two fabrication assistants, Stephen (@stemite_studios) and Tiana (@trose.art) . I would be nothing without any of y’all! taken in UNT College of Visual Arts and Design by @brartglo

Inkblot (2), 2025
23in x 37in x 1in
wood, mirrored acrylic, glass

The shape for this piece was inspired and appropriated directly from an early 20th century Art Nouveau hairpin. I was really interested in how these designs that started in architecture carried over into design that was worn on the body. When looking at the perfectly symmetrical nature of the hairpins—I found myself viewing them almost like a Rorschach inkblot test. I then recalled my own experience taking one of these tests in 2016 when I received my PTSD diagnosis. I hope you see something in this shape, and in the reflections on the mirrors surface.

I created an entire series of this work the last 3-4 months and I am excited to finally start sharing them. by @brartglo
