I’m beyond grateful and excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic journey at Iona University.

First, thank you to Coach Dan Kravitsky of Susa, the first coach who saw something in me as a young player and helped build the foundation of who I am today.

Thank you as well to Coach Kelsh and the entire Susa organization for believing in me—not only as a player, but as a person.

I’m incredibly thankful to NYCFC, where over six seasons I was pushed to grow, compete, and elevate my game to a higher level.

A very special thank you to someone whose unwavering support over the last five years changed my life. You gave me the opportunity to experience team success and earn personal accolades I never would have imagined. Coach Dave Moran, thank you.

To my biggest supporters, who were there for every high and low and stood by me regardless of the outcome—words can’t fully express my gratitude. Mom, Dad, John, Lacee, Kayla, and Vinny, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Lastly, thank you to Coach Hamilton and Coach Whitehead for giving me the opportunity to proudly represent IONA and Gael Nation.

Both Commack soccer teams reached the top of the mountain as state champions this fall. Brayden O’Boyle of the boys team was a key piece for the Cougars and helped lead the way as the team’s first ever five-year varsity player.

O’Boyle was named the Newsday boys soccer player of the year at the All-Long Island photoshoot. We caught up with him at the event.

End of a chapter. A journey that took place over 5 years was finally completed with a County Championship, a Long Island Championship, and a State Championship. I could not be more grateful for every teammate that I got to play with along the way. It’s a perfect ending, not only because of what was achieved, but the family I did it with. I will appreciate these memories forever.

A special thank you to Coach Moran for giving me this opportunity and trusting me not only as a captain, but a player. Thank you for making me not only a better player, but a better person. I’ll never forget it.

Thank you Commack Soccer for giving me memories I’ll carry forever.
