Let sleeping dogs lie
Part 1 of my Painting final !! 24 x 32 in (wow !!!) Finally finished this painting , probably one of my most ambitious pieces in a while ! Well , i had no intention for it to end up this way (i came up with the original concept for this in March ..?), but i knew i wanted to do something BRIGHT PURPLE like that good blue purple so i collected so many images with colors and stuff i liked collaged them bc vibe curation matters and also built an interior to use as a ref bc my professor told me to so it changed the composition. But i fw the occasional (or often) cut and paste so like i can’t be mad. This took me a really long time and im pretty happy with it by @brdgetz

Part 2 of my painting final - funky deer portrait :3
Started this Thursday and finished it by Saturday now thats the me i know ^__^ i think as a culmination of painting 1 this piece really demonstrates how i was able to adapt to using oil paint and my style (i hate that word but im going to use it) and get better since the first time i used it !! This piece isn’t supposed to be too serious , its def a little bizarre and the colors add to it but i think that makes it a lot more representational of who i am and i don’t think the meaning of this would be the same if not :) by @brdgetz

Interned at Worcester center for crafts this center: this is what i learned

Stained glass is equally as hard as it is easy, somehow.
The kids are okay, and art won’t die. They need it like we do.
How to weave (thanks sage!)
How much more energy i really did have at 9 than i do now (they love to run)
How great artists are, in general.
And how much i love Worcester mass.
What a wonderful summer. Thank you to everyone

All glass works by me (and the one weave) and i do not feel comfortable posting kids either even tho their parents got social media sign off for camp :3 (not for me tho) by @brdgetz

Last collage!!!! Def my favorite. Realized the simplified shaped def succeed more rather than repeating small pieces. But unfortunately!!! The mod podge method i used was way worse. Tragic! by @brdgetz
