A first sourdough Pullman loaf with some homemade strawberry jam on a Sunday morning. I'll need to add a bit more flour to fill it next time. #breadydays taken in Buchanan by @breadpunchbakery

Since we moved in December, I hadn't made bread at our new place (the oven when we moved in was unreliable and ancient). I had taken my starter out of the fridge a few months back and all the water had completely evaporated. I added a bit or moisture and put it back. I revived it again and it came back to making bubbles in 2 days and made 2 nice loaves of Dark Rye with sesame seeds #breadydays taken in Buchanan by @breadpunchbakery

We made a sourdough with a 1/4 lb of cold grated butter incorporated into in while kneading and forming. The crust was very light and croissant-like #breadydays taken in Waterdown by @breadpunchbakery
