When bad things happen I always come back to my favorite part of the criminally underrated 24 Hour Party People (2002). Hope this helps anyone else having a terrible day!! 🎡🎡🎡🎡 by @breadtourist

I’ve been reminiscing about Sundance as this year’s festival winds down in Park City for the last time. There are brief periods in any life that are forever defining, and the 2012 Sundance Film Festival is one of mine. Those four snowy months I spent living in Park City changed the trajectory of my life in the most magical way. I was 25 years old, footloose and fancy-free, with nothing to stop me from moving to Utah at the drop of a hat. I jumped in with both feet, aiming to prove myself professionally, and ended up learning to ski, falling in love hard, bonding with strangers who became roommates, and finding a lifelong best friend one desk over. I loved working alongside the seasonal army of funny, wild, resourceful people who descended on the town year after year, creating the impossible reality, and those crazy days and endless nights are among my most treasured memories. Most of all I love remembering the bold, adventurous girl that I was, sleeping on air mattresses and still inventing herself. I hope to keep her with me always 🖤 taken in Park City, Utah by @breadtourist
