Recently, Lots of cafe owners have been telling me that they will be putting up their coffee prices, and I thought you should all know. If you’re a cafe who is going to put your prices up, leave a comment. To all the coffee drinkers - Unfortunately this price jump needs to happen if we want this Australian cafe culture to stick around. After running the same t-shirt design a couple of times we’ve decided we needed something new. That’s where @breakfastshirtss comes in. This fun little collab is ready to print but before we do we thought we’d offer pre orders.

How to pre order
1. Pop in store and purchase over the counter; please keep your receipt OR
2. Shoot me a DM with size and quantities required. We’ll send a payment link; once payment is made your shirt is secured.

Why pre order?
We will only be doing one run of these shirts so will have limited amounts. Pre order secures your shirt
AND
You save $10 (just over 15%). Purchase via pre order and you’ll pay $50 vs. $60 off the rack.

Details
White print on brown shirt (brown a warmer/deeper shade in person)
Pre orders open until the July 31st
Shirts will take approximately 2-3weeks to arrive once pre order is closed and can be collected in store or posted at buyers expense
Printed on pre shrunk 270GSM combed cotton
Boxy/slightly oversized fit; order down if you prefer a slimmer fit (check size chart for exact measurements) by @breakfastshirtss

If this topic interests you, please watch the whole video. Firstly - the fact APRA exists is incredible. Knowing there is a company out there that can get money back to artists in any capacity is amazing and it feels very conflicting bringing these issues up. I don’t reckon Onemusics approach with small businesses is the right play (more to come on this) - Most venues want to support the arts but It seems the fees are way too high especially for the smaller venues. Also a big question I have is, are there many independent musicians out there who have had success with rotation on these BMS platforms? And how many of you are there? If there’s thousands of indie artists who are benefiting adequately from this, then I’ll be the first to let you all know that. This post is intended to encourage solutions. It’s clear there needs to be a change, right now it feels as if small businesses and the arts are being pinned against each other (at the hand of large corporations - intentional or not) ❤️ by @breakfastshirtss
