The energy at Tiny Patio was so good, even the candids look like “planned-ids.” ✨

Tiny Patio is an intimate music and art experience built around a simple invitation: put down the phone, settle into the moment, and truly connect—with the artists, the people around you, and yourself.

When you’re welcomed into a space where you can genuinely unplug and be present, eventually you forget the camera is even there. What remains are portraits that feel honest, warm, and completely alive.

Here are a few of our favorites from the night with more loading.

A huge thank-you to our friends at @breakoutfoundation and @undergroundgalleryhouse for believing in the vision and helping us create a night where art, intimacy, and community could meet. Your support helped make this possible. 🤎

Tiny patio. Big talent. Beautiful Tulsa energy.

The Tiny Patio Music Series was such an intentional evening of music, spoken word, art, and community.

It was intimate, creative, and full of the kind of moments that remind you how much talent lives right here in Tulsa.

We came to listen, stayed to connect, and left inspired. ✨

Thank you to @breakoutfoundation , Vondell, Jeseth, Jolie, Underground Gallery House, and NDA Haus for creating such a beautiful space. by @breakoutfoundation

This week, we hosted a community listening session at our office focused on social connection at The Opp Hub Farm. 🌱🗣️

Through group conversations and interactive activities, attendees shared their vision for a thriving, connected community and explored how the farm can bring more people together. Participants and staff also began developing concrete ideas to address social isolation in our community.

This session is part of the New York Action Guide Planning Cohort funded by @fdn4socialconnection and Healthy Places By Design. Through a series of listening and planning sessions, we are working to better understand and address our community’s needs.

Thank you to the @breakoutfoundation for contributing $500 to support this important work, and to everyone who joined us and shared their perspective! 😃

Courtesy of the @breakoutfoundation, I hosted a summer book exchange because we are in a LITERARY CRISIS and books make life worth living!! 51% of Americans read 0 books a year. Reading for pleasure dropped 12% from 2004-2023 and has declined 43% overall the past 20 years. This is scary because books are essential for critical thinking skills and for expanding how we see the world. Reading is not efficient, it requires presence and staying with. That’s why I like it. We’re losing our ability to think, to have productive discourse, to pay attention and books ask you to do all of this. It is by design something that needs time. Books have always been my most favorite pastime, a portal to beauty, knowledge and depth. I read with a fervor to consume all the books (the most capitalistic thing about me). Connecting with authors on my podcast has been one of the juiciest awe inducing additions to my life. The event was surprising in that it inspired a different quality of conversation. One about ideas, about preferences and about authentic connection. 10/10 suggest you do a book swap and see where it leads!! This was my first but it will not be my last. Thank you @breakoutfoundation!! taken in Book Club by @breakoutfoundation

In June, we hosted a Social Battery Dinner in Atlanta with @goodienation during their Goodie FC programming which activated around the various World Cup host cities. Our event featured a curated table sponsored by @divi.fund and @breakoutfoundation.

No stage, no pitch. Just the kind of room where a REAL-ationship is nurtured and social batteries are filled. More than a dozen creators, builders, community leaders, and educators filled the table as we shared in conversation and connection. After dinner, the room swelled as live music and more energy filled the room. THIS was definitely one dinner for the books!

If you’d want to bring this to your city or organization, email team@nfnte.com. What’s missing from the way your community currently gets people in a room together? taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @breakoutfoundation

For the first “Ceremonies” edition of The House Blend, we gathered around the Ethiopian Buna coffee tradition, pairing an authentic coffee ceremony with the rhythms of house music. Together, they created a space to slow down, learn, exchange stories, and leave a little more connected than when we arrived.

Thank you to @waliaethiopianrestaurant for leading the ceremony, @projectforemptyspace for opening their doors, and @breakoutfoundation for making the experience possible.
We’re also grateful to everyone who joined us with curiosity and an openness to learn.

🇪🇹🌍🙏🏿

Still feeling inspired by our New York City Youth in Food Justice Summit at the Brooklyn Grange Sunset Park Rooftop Farm on Thursday, April 9. With support from @breakoutfoundation we brought together more than 60 young people and thought leaders from NYC nutrition programs. We shared a meal, took in the beautiful view, and created vision boards on food justice prompts. Discussion on existing and potential collaborations was lively, and participants left feeling energized about our work together in a moment of great need around food and nutrition security. Thank you to co-collaborators Kyle Murray and Anya Pathania and to all who supported and came out! @nypcommunity @sylviacenter @grownyc @farmtopeople @nycfood @lehmancuny @columbia.ihn @chips4thave @brooklyngrange @nychealthy and so many more 💗 Photography by Victor Cruz by @breakoutfoundation

Still energized from the IBX-focused walking tour I led today through Flatbush ✨
We kicked things off with quick intros before exploring the future Flatbush IBX stop area together. From there, we hopped on dollar vans and made our way down Flatbush, ending at Risbo for a thoughtful debrief and good food.
This wasn’t just a walk—it was a space to imagine what equitable transit-oriented development could look like in our communities. With the proposed Interborough Express (IBX) set to transform connectivity across Brooklyn and Queens, the conversation centered on how we ensure this investment benefits long-term residents, workers, and small businesses—without displacement.
We dug into big questions:
How can IBX unlock opportunities for childcare, community ownership, and local businesses?
What does it take to build a corridor where people can truly thrive in place?
Grateful for everyone who showed up, shared ideas, and brought their perspective to the table. And a special thank you to Breakout Foundation for your support in making this gathering possible 💛
