It's still hard to believe we really got to do this! We're so excited to share our @kexp in-studio session with you! We're so honored to be included in an incredible group of musicians who have performed in this space, and to be able to share songs from our new record "Entomology". So much love to Cheryl Waters, Larry Mizell Jr, Jim Beckmann and the whole KEXP team for having us; we felt like rock stars for a day.
Enjoy this clip of "To All the Boys (I've Bugged Before)"!

Tonight we take our final bow.

After 13 years we've decided it's time to give everyone space to focus on new projects and priorities and, you know, just live life for a bit.

We love Seattle and the music community here, and we've had some truly amazing experiences in our time together. To everyone who ever bought a ticket, brought a friend to a show, spun a record, played with us, believed in us: Thank you, we love you all so much. It's been a dream.

Much love to @jay.cham1981 and @schmeelsalot for holding it down on the horns.

Happy Holidays from the Breaks and Swells crew!
We have one more show in 2025, and you really don't want to miss this one.

On New Year's Eve we will take the stage at Conor Byrne for our last show for the foreseeable future.

For over a decade you have all made us feel so welcome and supported in the Seattle music scene and we've made memories together to last a lifetime. We'll have more to share with you on our time together as a band, and we will be releasing one last song early 2026 but for now, thank you. It's been wonderful. 🖤

We know the holidays can be rough for a lot of people, and the Breaks and Swells crew thought it would be a lovely idea to record a Christmas tune to lift everyone's spirits.
Instead we picked one of the saddest songs we could find!
"Please Come Home for Christmas" drops Friday 12.5 on Bandcamp and all major platforms (not on Spotify though cause ew).

Much love to @joannakitchen and @robroyseattle for letting us use their adorable space! (Pssst! Go check them out this month it's so cute in there!)
