Ya’ll know I tell it all, but this one. Whew!!!

I learned I had a lung condition, called Pulmonary Sequestration, a rare congenital condition that makes up 1% to 6% of congenital lung anomalies. It was dormant and never caused me any issues, until 6 mos after my 31st Birthday.

THE TRAUMA!

While it is not in itself a life-threatening condition, a pulmonary sequestration can cause health complications including cardiovascular problems, long-term infections like tuberculosis, and bronchial cancer. It could be fatal if blood vessels in the lung begin to hemorrhage.

God covered me from all the terrible symptoms that I could have experienced my entire childhood, into my adulthood. So I have to sing his good graces!

BUT MY GOD! I’ve had enough 🥴✨ Sharing this for purposes of sharing information and resources. If you have a bad cold, or any unique chest pains, a cold that lasts a little too long, request a chest CT scan and xray! I had no symptoms for 31 years. 🫶🏼

I think I’m evolving into the Solo Traveler girlie! Not because I don’t like group trips, but there’s nothing like exploring new things completely alone.

When I tell you, I unlocked major core memories on this trip. Scratched some things off my bucket list and discovered that I hate to ski🥲. All that matters is that I tried something new.
