Lorenz was and is my friend. He passed away 4 years ago after 10 years of being on and off the cancer rollercoaster. I learned a lot from him, and I’m especially gratefull that he showed me how to be confident without having to resort to being an asshole.We had long & deep conversations throughout our time together, especially so during the last half year of his life, when we painted miniatured and played warhammer as we did in our highschool years.When I look back at our friendship I hardly feel sad: thinking about him (mostly) puts a smile on my face.
