Vision ⏩️ Fruition

I wanted my first project to be back home in Grenada, MS, for a reason.

So everyone could eat from it.

My dad is building it. 👷🏾‍♂️

My mom is the project manager. 📋

My cousin, @krispinjennez, will be the listing agent upon completion. 🏠

Research shows that the black dollar only circulates for six hours in the Black Community.

I refuse to be a part of the problem.

We’re making progress!

Framing started on Wednesday of this week, and you can already see the transformation.

Key updates:

• We are raising the pitch of the roof by 2ft.

• Adding an partially open carport and laundry room to the east side of the home.

• Adding an additional bathroom on the back of the master bedroom to make it a 3/2.

• Replacing the front porch and adding a gabled top.

We’re making progress! Completed some light demo work to the front porch and sidewalk.

We also laid out the space for the additions to the side and back of the home.

Visited our second property today! Here are some key details about this one:

• Purchased in October 2021
• Located in Batesville, MS
• 0.2 miles from the city's square
• Across from Batesville Elementary
• 0.25 acres (shaped like an arrow) ⬅️
• Original purchase price: $9k
• Later financed on a $170/monthly bank note

We feel this is the biggest steal in our portfolio, largely due to the proximity to the city's square and new elementary school.

Luckily, this lot didn't even have a "For Sale" sign on it, so no one ever tried to buy it. I found it on www.realtor.com last year, and my dad/contractor originally thought it was a scam. 😂

We'll definitely build a small home on this lot, most likely some time in Summer 2023. Follow along for more!
