My classic middle child, only boy, adventurous, kind, brave, in tune, wild, energizer bunny empath!
You are the perfect combo of sweet and salty; you know how to read a room, you take others under your wing, you stand up for your sisters when needed, you have a strong sense of just and you see people for who they are not what they are.
You might be a dadda’s boy but you are most like me out of the three and seeing parts of myself reflected in you is so special.
I am so proud of the boy you are becoming.

~Noosa Half Marathon 2026~
1:42:55 average pace of 4:50/km
Race day is the prize for me as all your hard work goes into competing on the day and achieving new goals. The main goal was to beat my time from the previous year which I did by around 4 minutes.
There are some incredibly swift and superhuman athletes out there finishing their races in inhumane times which I will never be one of 😂
I ran this race for my best mate Bustin who we lost last year in a BASE jumping accident. As he would quote ‘reach for the stars and if you don’t grab them at least you’ll fall on top of the world.’

WELCOME HOME 🤎
After four months away he is home!
The kids are beyond excited to have their dadda home. Our house feels whole and the chaos feels lighter.

The past few months brought different struggles for both of us as parents but in totally opposite ways.
Neither side was easy, but both did our best to ultimately create the best experiences for ourselves and of course the kids.

Being back together again it’s a reminder that no matter how hard the distance was, home will always be wherever we are together. 🤍 by @bree_craine

Fiji 🏝️
This past trip gave our family more than we ever anticipated.
Over the years we have earnt the love and trust of the locals in the village and to say I am humbled by this is a huge understatement.
The friendships, the community, the way of life - it becomes more and more like home each trip.
The kids were in the local school, I was teaching year 1, Ty on the other side of the island building epic structures of tribal council. Every day was full but never busy.
I miss my local friends, the beautiful kids, our doggy sprinkles and all the crew but mostly I miss hearing the chanting of Fijian kids voices calling out for ‘Elkie, Vanny, Navie, Breezy’ as we would walk through the gate 🤍
That feeling cannot be explained, encapsulated or described- just felt.

Fiji Island School 🏝️📚
My 3 little hearts learning more than just lessons—culture, kindness, and a whole new way of seeing the world.
Chaotic, fun, much less structured & the biggest smiles, laughs and beautiful voices.
Fijians have a way of teaching what really matters with their big hearts and their focus on the simpler things in life that really matter.
I feel incredibly blessed to be able to give them this experience—one that’s shaping their little personalities with diversity, love, acceptance but most importantly kindness 🤍 by @bree_craine

Some chapters in life don’t feel real until you see them written down… and this one is one of them.
What started as a leap into the unknown became a journey that shaped us all individually in many ways.

The long work days for ty, the new places, a secluded island, the challenges, island adventures, the days apart, the journeys together, but mostly the memories we made and continue to make ~ all of it has made us stronger and closer. I’m so grateful for the experiences we’ve shared, the people we’ve reconnected with, the new friends we’ve met. All of these experiences have woven into who we are as a family.

This article is a perfect depiction of our island life in every aspect. It is a beautiful and accurate story of our adventures so far with not only the amazing work Ty produces but also mine and the kids experiences in the village and on the islands. 🏝️

Super grateful to have this chapter of our lives documented. Big thank you to Morgan for seeing the wonder and publishing our story ✨

This lap around the sun would have to be my favorite so far. Full of events, memories, and moments that reminded me how lucky I am to be surrounded by such amazing people.
It was a year with some new challenges, a whole lot of solo parenting, even more running and a handful of great overseas and interstate trips.
Starting my birthday last year in Byron to now this year in Melbourne there has been so much good in between.
The fun I have had this year outways the negative and for that I’m forever grateful!
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this wild, beautiful ride.
The most valuable thing in life is time and who you spend it with, so here’s to embracing every single day! by @bree_craine
