Hi everyone!
I’ve decided it’s about time I make an account dedicated to my travels.
A little about me:
📍 I was born and raised in New Jersey, and still live here! Believe it or not, NJ has so many hidden gems, that I will surely be sharing on here.
📖 I have a B.S. in Ecology, Evolution & Natural Resources.
🥾I spend most of my free time hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, skiing and relaxing on the beach.
🗺️ I am an avid traveler, who loves documenting my adventures and sharing my memories on social media.

My ultimate goal is to help others discover and easily access all the mesmerizing destinations and that our beautiful world has to offer 🌎💕 by @breetraveling

This might just be the best year round destination in Vermont, so if you haven’t been, then here’s your sign to visit @gostowe !

I stayed at @outboundstowe in July, when I summited Mount Mansfield, and it was such a great experience. I cannot wait to return for ski season!

@stowemt is on the @epicpass which means I can ride here all winter long!

So book your winter stay now at Outbound Hotel, grab your Epic Pass and get ready to ride Stowe !

At least I fall gracefully ???

Ski season is upon us, and that means more videos of me making a fool of myself 😈 by @breetraveling

Learn from these 3 mistakes I made when visiting sleepy hollow

1. If there’s a long line for horsefeathers, just go somewhere else. It’s not worth the wait

2. If you’re doing a night time cemetery lantern tour, DRIVE to the north gate and you can park for free in the cemetery. I thought the entrance was at South Gate so we walked there from where I was parked, just to find out we had to walk even further to the other gate and ended up ubering back to my car.

3. If you actually want to sit and watch the Halloween parade than that’s great, but we unknowingly went on the day of the parade and it prevented us from being able to get around to some of the spots we would have liked to see.

Places I do recommend, is getting coffee and a croissant from Dahlia’s Song, eating at The Tapp, walking around the waterfront park, walking the cemetery during the day so that you can actually see the beauty of everything and a chance at seeing the headless horseman!

Albuquerque, New Mexico is such an adorable city, but my favorite part about my visit was staying at @stayoldtownroad just minutes away from the heart of Old Town!

I was here for Dia de Los Muertos, and let me tell you….. this was such a beautiful experience! They do such a lovely job of bringing old town to life in celebration of their deceased loved ones!

So if you’re looking for the perfect weekend trip this fall, come experience Albuquerque, and stay at Old Town Road!

Most people don’t realize the ecological importance of Cape May, NJ! The southern most point of New Jersey is extremely significant for hundreds of different species of wildlife as they migrate in both the spring and fall.

Birds and pollinators fill the sky, while aquatic animals move up and down the Atlantic coast and throughout the Delaware bay.

Cape May is a bird watcher’s paradise, and a birding hot spot, especially during peak migration.

There are numerous organizations like @cmbobirds founded by @njaudubon, @nature_nj, @capemayraptorbanding, @capemaywhalewatch_researchctr, and @naturecenterofcapemay among others that perform extensive research, and provide outreach and education on the wildlife that utilizes the habitats in and around cape may!

Cape May Bird Observatory hosts a fall festival each October, that draws in hundreds of birders. Next year’s festival date is October 14-17, 2027.

On fall weekends, The Cape May Raptor Banding program performs live demonstrations on banding, data collection and the release of raptors.

The Nature Center of Cape May hosts an annual Monarch Festival each September.

Marine Mammals, aquatic sea life and offshore birds can be spotted on the Cape May Whale Watch & Research Vessel, and they even offer occasional pelagic tours!

The opportunities to spot and admire wildlife in Cape May is endless! Stay tuned for another video on my specific spots around Cape May that I go birding at !

I am probably the most outgoing, social person I know - but I also absolutely love my peace and solitude.

I’ve taken numerous solo trips, all around the country. I’ve camped, hiked, skied, fished and hunted alone. I’ve gone to sporting events and concerts by myself.

Being alone doesn’t scare me, but what’s scary is how much I actually enjoy being alone.

Maybe it has something to do with being an only child ? Idk.

To share my time, space and energy with another person, is just too much sometimes. I love a lot of people and have a lot of friends, but I’m very selective about who I do certain things with. Very often, I prefer doing it on my own.

Summer might be over, but @revrailco is still movin’ and groovin’ down in Cape May, NJ!

In my opinion, this is the BEST time of year to visit the Cape, and to take a ride on Rev Rail.

The air is cool and crisp, the cosmo flowers at Garrett Family Preserve are in full bloom, and the birds and pollinators are still migrating! There’s just endless beauty in nature to see during October and into November.

The 4pm ride lets you peddle down the tracks during ✨golden hour✨ which is the best time of the day!

So don’t waste any more time, keep up your October Maxxing, head down to Cape May and go take a ride with Revolution Rail! Book in advance online to guarantee your desired time slot.

Add Allaire State Park in Monmouth County, NJ to your fall bucket list of places to visit!

The historic village at Allaire has tons of old buildings from the 19th century iron works that took place there. The manasquan river runs through the property, with adjacent hiking trails you can stroll down through the woods.

They host a variety of events throughout the year, but you won’t want to miss their night of frights that happens on Friday and Saturday nights in October! Checkout their website for the full calendar and details !
