hello planty friends! 🌱 i realized that i never really introduced myself, so here it goes!

my name is bree, i’m 22, and i’m from the great state of texas 🤠

i graduated with my B.S. in environmental science in december 2023, and i have a (not so small) obsession with houseplants 🪴🌵🌿

no one really prepares you for how lonely life can feel after graduating college, so i started this account earlier this year to expand my horizons with this hobby and connect with other plant nerds!

thank you for following and engaging in my content, i love to see y’all’s plants just as much as i love seeing mine 😂🥰 by @breeze.trees

i’ve had such dramatic ups & downs with this plant over the years, but i think i’ve finally realized that she is happiest under the following conditions:
💡 artificial LED lighting ONLY (8+ hrs/day)
🪨 aquatic pon as planting medium
💧 distilled water ONLY
🏡 greenhouse conditions by @breeze.trees

make a pothos prop box with me (ft. a very curious cat 🐈‍⬛)

ever since moving into the new home, i’ve noticed that my big window actually wasn’t letting enough light into the room, causing a LOT of yellow leaves and stringy, unhappy plants… so i decided to chop up my long pothos plants and restart !! by @breeze.trees

look at how cute this new leaf is 🥹

i for sure thought this little monstera thai con was going to die on me, but she seems to be doing okay ! does anyone else think her leaves are a little deformed 🤔? by @breeze.trees

happy monstera monday yall !!

here’s some monster(a) deliciosa updates 🌱 i finally had time to repot a few of my larger plants and find a (temporary?) spot for them in my new plant/hobby room :3

the boyfriend thinks i should get some shelving units for the back wall so i can get more plants 🤔… i like the way he thinks 😁🧠🪴 by @breeze.trees

mommy makeover: monstera edition ! 🪴

i knewww the root situation was gonna be crazy when i finally repotted my monstera deliciosa 😖 i had to wait to repot her until i got moved into my new house, if i had done so before hand, there would have been no way to move the monster(a) in my dad’s truck (it barely fit on the way over)!

my boyfriend was kind enough to help me repot this massive plant, he did such a good job attaching the plant to its stakes and trellis 🙂‍↕️
