Hey everyone! Just wanted to say a huge thanks for all the wonderful birthday wishes! It made me feel very special getting messages, posts, and texts from so many friends, both old and new. I feel super honored! 😊 I worked my regular shift yesterday and had some great calls. I didn't get cake and a candle, but I did get a milkshake from Mike's by the hospital, which is perfect for me! by @breezy_ski

The old lady, Scout, is 13 years old this month. She's such a little trooper; now about 95% blind, she navigates her world pretty darn well, especially with the help of her brother Dash. No longer chasing horses, cows, or her siblings around, she's a little portly now, but at her age, she can be whatever she wants. She loves her toys and her treats, and she looooves to snuggle. Thank you, Julie Ann Kirby and Chad, for ten years of joy (and cattle dog frustration) with my beautiful little Scout. by @breezy_ski

After 23 years and in memory of our fallen mountain brother, Justin Bliesner, I finally placed the perfect indelible trillium on my forearm until the wind carries me away one day.

Oops, I missed National Daughters Day yesterday, but it’s never too late to recognize my one and only beautiful baby girl, Piper. At nearly 17, The Pickle is driving herself all over the place, achieving top scores in advanced classes in her junior year, enjoying her tight friendships, and even getting along with old and boring Mom.
