Different cities, all mesmerizing ♥️🇨🇳. Cut to the clip of Rubio looking up at the ceilings in Beijing. #travel #asia #photography #china #blog by @brendamorose

This is a joke… but not really 😅. 5 year anniversary at work, 5 years of traveling the world. Been a wild ride, and love the journey so far even with having the most unlucky love life known to man. I try to only protrude soulmate energy- but also not at the cost of losing travel. Maybe avoid world travelers if you’d want them to give that up. Don’t think I am a bird who wants to be caught in a cage- yet l am a bird that wants to share the sky with her fellow soul-bird. It’s much too valuable to lose. I think travel is the only gift I care to give to my children, the most important. ♥️✨🌎 #travel #writer #photography #asia by @brendamorose

He went full dad mode 🥹. Core memory, canon event, something I will remember forever. I had surgery on my nose which meant I couldn’t ride due to the high altitude. I ordered a cab that morning with the intention of just being dropped off. Instead he stayed with me the full time, drove me around to make sure I saw the balloons. We didn’t speak the same language and he just reminded of my dad back home. He kept the meter running but it was still the most reasonable price. The first and only time I tipped 100%. I didn’t feel lonely or left behind and it was nice to have a friend for a few hours. I caught up with the rest of my group later in the day and now have a story to tell. #travel #asia #blog #photography #writer by @brendamorose

I can’t even explain how scared I was to go— to then everything being fine. To then feeling angry for being deceived by western systems. The food was fine, my phone fully worked with Verizon plan, I could contact back home easily, the police weren’t intimidating, men weren’t harassing women, petty theft is non existent. As someone who travels often I have been to much more dangerous places. Even smaller cities having more stable infrastructure than most countries. Just was very enlightened that most of the fears I had were not true. I went to see for myself and made my own judgement. And will continue to visit multiple regions. It is now one of my favorite places to go. I encourage you to go for yourself and make your own decisions. On top of Visa free travel availability opening the gateway for those who don’t want to apply for one.

Stranger in the Alps🏔️🍂🌄
Jumped inside a Bob Ross panting. ✨
The process that I have found to heal a wound that stemmed from broken promises and abandonment— is not by finding a replacement person— it’s by just doing everything yourself that they didn’t do for you.
Take yourself, visit the bucket list, fly the business class, eat the food— go to Asia, go to Europe, it’s a big world. And I have cried in a over 15+ different countries over it. But I also picked myself back up.
All without them.
And by yourself.
So my healing will not be an extension of someone else.
It’s going to come from me.
I’m going to give myself the life they made me want with them— without them. And I trust that eventually I will meet the right person that will go beyond their capacity to hold my heart delicately. That will want to see the world with me, that does not deem me unworthy.
I turned 30 and truly it was a switch to put me first. Above all.
No more talking stages, no more writing paragraphs to men that don’t care if I’m even alive.
You know where to find me, then come and find me.
Just a girl, the world, and her camera.
(And her pen/key board)
I rather sit alone for now— when I can give myself more than they **would** by @brendamorose

The day goes by so fast when you are having fun! But still have so many days to explore on our own! Day two second day in Shanghai.

📍宫宴 (Gōng Yàn Royal Banquet)
Shanghai, China 🇨🇳

This was the most fun and would love to do it again!I’m trying to romanticize my life more, and sometimes that means saying yes to experiences before I have someone to share them with.
•
I found this experience through WeChat by searching 宫宴 (Gōng Yàn), which translates to “Palace Banquet.”

Best Bao buns I had in China! I stopped here to eat almost every day in my time in Shanghai. Very affordable, cheap, and good! In the former French concession, or Xuhai district location map. Fuxing middle road and Baoqing road .

This was the most exciting and equally scariest trip. I had no idea what I was in for but it truly exceeded my expectations. Day one first day in Shanghai.
