the last two months have been all in on finding forms of being together, with this brilliant group of beings at @headlandsarts. lindsey white @ldubbles and jon rubin @jonrubinstudio built this stunning mutual project called present company, a work of social practice and self-organization that hosted multiple forms of play, presence and exchange, where gathering happened on so many levels. we learned to weave, how to make magic, read tarot, tell a joke and identify the home of a dusty footed wood rat, but the moments in between radiated with the odd surplus of real discovery. the walks and after-hours and spontaneous happenings that this container created were everything. i’m so deeply grateful to this group, the headlands, to jon and lindsey, and will be processing what we all just did together for a long time to come.

first photo is jon’s, and sixth came from @djmeisner
