I am so proud and incredibly blessed to announce my commitment to Southeastern Oklahoma State University!! On 11/20/2025 I made the decision to continue my academic and athletic career at SE and I couldn’t have accomplished anything without the blessings of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I also couldn’t have dreamt of being here without family, friends, and everyone in my corner!! To all my coaches, and mom, thank you for always being my biggest critics and supporters because none of this would have been possible without you. To my best friends, thank you guys for always being my ride or dies and being the people that I could always turn to and count on (even in a 16 inning state game)!! Thank you to the Southeastern Coaches for the opportunity and I’m so excited for what the future holds!! Go Savage Storm!💙⚡️💛 @savagestormsb

There are no words to describe the feeling of being able to win a State Championship with my mom and my best friends. The words “State Champions” doesn’t even feel real. This is a dream I have been chasing since watching my mom coach many great players before me and it is a dream come true to be a part of the team that delivered her first ever State Championship and it makes it even more special. I couldn’t have asked the Lord for a better group of girls that I love endlessly and would go against the world with. I am thankful that my senior season ended the way that it did and with the people that matter the most. Thank the Lord for softball that brought me my best friends, a tradition, a community and a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!💍🩵💛💗 taken in USA Softball Devon Park by @brenlee.dawn

This is a post that I’ve been putting off making. Mostly because I don’t think I can believe that it’s here. I’m no longer an athlete at Oktaha. This is one of those feelings that don’t have words to describe it. I can remember being 10 years old and begging my mom to let me skip school to watch “the softball girls”. I remember being in the dugout at the Softball Hall of Fame watching those same girls play at State and I knew that was going to be me someday. I remember being so excited to finally play softball with Oktaha across my chest and a number on my back that my family had worn at this same school many years ago. Back then, playing shortstop and being a lead-off for my mom in high school felt so far away. And now I’m wishing I could slow it down. Just one more game, practice, warm-up, bus ride; I’ll even do one more triangle. I’ll take another but chewing from my mom on that field if it’s means I’m still an Oktaha Tiger. Playing softball under my mom has been one of my biggest blessings and privilege. (Because I don’t think there is another Coach who will know me better) This game at this school has brought me my closest friends and a State Championship but it has also taught me lessons and impacted my life in so many ways.
Even though it feels weird not getting ready to go play and suiting up in an Oktaha uniform, this is a chapter that has to end. No matter how bad I DONT want it to. I just want to say thank you to my entire family for seeing my potential even when I didn’t, my mom for being so hard on me but knowing that’s what I needed, to my friends for always finding ways to make me laugh and for giving me the best memories. And thanks to Kadence because there will never be another catcher I have a connection with like you.
This is a part of growing up, saying goodbye and remembering all the memories, and me and softball have a lot. But they have all been with Oktaha and the people that matter the most to me.

Oktaha softball is all I have ever known and even though this chapter of my softball journey is coming to an end I will always be an Oktaha Tiger. #5 signing out. 🩵🐅🥎💛 taken in Oktaha Softball Field by @brenlee.dawn
