Saturday night I lost one of the biggest role models i’ve ever looked up to. There will never be the perfect words to describe just how amazing my grandmother was. She was selfless, constantly always putting other people needs and wants in front of her own with expecting nothing in return. Her actions were always driven by a deep sense of empathy and compassion. She was kind, always radiating warmth and generosity. Her kindness went so beyond surface level, and got stronger as the days went by. She was my person, Always understood how I was feeling and the perfect way to make me feel better, Answers our daily text within minutes, My safe place in a storm, She just got me without me even having to explain. A good friend sent me this quote and it says “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard” and it couldn’t be more true. I’m so lucky to of had such an amazing relationship with my grandma, she was my best friend. I know god has a plan for her, and it brings me peace that Audrey now can have my best friend along side her in heaven. My grandma was there for me through some of my best moments and the toughest ones, she always knew what I needed weather that’s a hug, laugh, or to just sit in silence in our favorite rocking chair while I play with her loose ring on her finger. Not a day will go by that I won’t miss you, and you’ll forever be my favorite person❤️
