Day 15: Broomsticks 🧹🧙‍♀️✨

A combo of lettering and doodles in one for this bewitching envelope. I keep coming back to the POSCA brush tips because they are just so fun for lettering.

Finished this one off with an old solar eclipse stamp. Sadly, the center isn’t really heat-activated anymore, but once upon a time, you could hold down the moon and reveal it.

Day 14: Enchanted Forest 🌳👻✨

Bringing back the spooky vibes after yesterday’s lil’ red cutie. I also haven’t used my colored pencils in a long time, and it was fun, even if I don’t really know what I am doing with colored pencils 🤪 I might need to get them out again this month for more practice.

Don’t miss my little test ghost at the end 🤭

Day 11: Maple 🍁🐌📮

A leafy snail and a bunch of my vintage stamps for today’s maple prompt. I decided to use a little leaf template to make sure I got that maple look and they weren’t too wonky. 🤪 Never hurts to use a little art assistance when needed.

I also haven’t used these pens in forever, and they were kinda fun, so maybe I’ll need to get them out again soon.

Day 10: Celestial ⭐️🪐✨

Gonna be honest, I’m still not sure what this means, but I took spectral as a spectrum, aka rainbow, and collage as a chance to use my stickers. It was fun to pull out my stickers and find ones to match each color. It turned out to be a very happy little piece of mail.

Bewitching? No. Spooky? Not at all. Halloween-ish? Also no. 🤣 But I made an envelope, and that’s what counts.

Day 9: Bat 🦇🧛‍♀️✨
#TargetPartner ✨ Flying into the weekend with this spooky cutie thanks to my Sharpie Creative Marker Brush Tips.

They required a couple layers of black on this shiny envelope paper, but worth it. And then finished it off with what is probably the most-perfect stamp for the occasion. Sadly, I only have a few left 🥲

Find these linked in my Target shop, and they are even on sale right now. 👀

Day 7: New Moon 🌑✨📮

Got fancy with the technique today, but only used one pen for the whole thing. I did a little gel pen smearing I learned from @oonakc today for my moon art, and I was actually v impressed with the results. I am going to have to find more ways to use it.

Day 6: Pumpkins 🎃🌱📮

Just a cozy fall day at the pumpkin patch thanks to me raiding my kids’ supplies again. If you haven’t used the STABILO woody 3 in 1 before, they are like colored pencils meets wax crayon. You can even watercolor with it, and it works on all kinds of surfaces, not just paper. Another bonus, they write dry, so no mess. Perfect for kids, and obviously, adults.

Hope you like it, @yourstrulea!

Day 5: Acorns 🐿️🍂📮

This acorn is just happy a squirrel hasn’t found him yet. AND I was SO EXCITED to have a chance to use my new Squirrels & Chipmunks in Snow stamps. They just arrived last week, and I knew I had to use them on this 31 Days of Bewitching Envelopes prompt.

This envelope design is also easier than it looks. It just a lot of blobs and outlining, so if you’re willing to put in the time, the outcome is super cute. Give it a try. It’s relaxing. 😌
