Still one of my favorite reasons to get in the studio — creating something just because we had an idea we wanted to see come together.

Still thinking about what a great evening this was! 📸

A few moments from last weekend’s AeroAngel Light Up the Sky Gala. Such a fun night to photograph, with so much energy in the room and an incredible mission behind it all.

Big thank you to @themarcofields rcofields for bringing me in and trusting me to capture the evening. Always appreciate the opportunity! 🙏🏾

And great seeing @alexlewistv istv in the building as well!

Here are a few of my favorites from the night. ✨

911. 🚨 Somebody call them…

I AM THE EMERGENCY.

Ring the alarm. 🚨

37 years of becoming.

I’ve been through some shit.
Some of it broke my heart.
Some of it broke my confidence.
Some of it made me question myself.
Some of it had me fighting just to find my way back to ME.

But here’s what I know about me now:

I COME THROUGH.

Every. Damn. Time.

I’ve survived versions of my life I thought would take me out. I’ve loved. I’ve lost. I’ve outgrown. I’ve grieved. I’ve rebuilt. I’ve had to learn boundaries the hard way, recognize the warning signs I used to ignore, and stop crossing my own caution tape just to keep everybody else comfortable.

And somehow, every version of me that went through the fire came out stronger.

So at 37, the caution tape isn’t here because I’m afraid.

It’s your warning.

The woman on the other side of everything she’s been through is HERE.

I don’t need anybody to rescue me.
I don’t need permission to become her.
I don’t need approval to take up space.

Somewhere along the way, I realized…

I was the one I had been waiting on.

The rescue.
The answer.
The woman who kept showing up when life tried to break her.

So go ahead…

RING THE ALARM. 🚨

09.11.89 → 09.11.26

CHAPTER 37: I AM THE EMERGENCY…And this time, I’m answering for ME. 🚨🖤

From mood, to posture, to the way the smoke hits the light — every detail intentional.

Creating this concept with @afrapersefone was special.
