when @alyssa.miller130 @reed_____________crane and i built that deer back in April

so much work still left to be done on this production and project, but thrilled that we got to get it out their with such a brilliant cast. this puppet was a nightmare and i can’t wait to keep improving it - what we ended up with wasn’t everything we’d hoped, but for my first ever puppet, i’m pretty content with what we ended up with. additional thank-yous to the helpful and talented matthew terrazas (@the_know_nothings12) and ben priwer (@benpriwer) for the help forging and printing the 16lb metal antlers featured.

powellposting but it was almost half a year ago……….. anyway 5 months ago i did this really cool thing where i was this guy (actually 2 guys but we combined them) on a river who REALLY didn’t want to be there. and then he left and died :(

With the next Patchwork Theatre project approaching, I wanted to make a really late post about Powell, which was an immersive theatre production put on as an environmental humanities thesis project for a brilliant person named Evan Mahler. I had the privilege of working with an immensely talented cast, and it was such a unique opportunity. Thank you to everyone involved. by @brette__crane

yeah erm so i felt bad not posting about cherry orchard before doing any other posts so i’m just gonna throw this out here 3 months late. i am not tagging anyone out of shame but know that i loved this show and i miss everyone so much by @brette__crane

late corralis posting but corralis posting nonetheless. this project reminded me that theater is in fact an enjoyable profession that i do love with all of my heart, this world was so much fun to be a part of, and the people i got to meet and get close to mean the world to me now. i also got to have reed watch me, i had my arm broken AND i got to be yellow so basically everything was perfect; thank u corralis and friends 💛 by @brette__crane

Can’t believe I spent the entire summer just monkeying around (jk) (gibbons are lesser apes). in all seriousness, it’s been a really cool and fun summer, i love my roommates and my friends, i loved working on research, i loved going home for a little bit and listening to the silt verses & the magnus archives with reed, i loved hiking and taking walks, and i really loved volunteering at the gibbon conservation center. insane that i got to spend my time hanging out with such cool animals, and even cooler people ‼️‼️‼️ by @brette__crane
