In advance of this weekend’s clash with Michigan State in East Lansing, I’m bringing back this classic that forever lives rent-free in my prefrontal cortex. The date is October 4, 2014. The place is the incredibly cramped sideline at Spartan Stadium. It’s just before halftime, and the University of Nebraska marching band is readying for their mid-game show. Unfortunately for our hero, the legendary Aaron Babcock, amazing photographer and founder of Hail Varsity magazine, the cymbal line has violated virtually all of his personal boundaries. The result: a Hall of Fame selfie, proving once again that a picture is worth 1,000 words. #Huskers #Nebraska #football #photography #photographer by @brettsbaker

I don’t remember where I found this, but it has a way of popping up when I need a gentle reminder. by @brettsbaker

Hard to believe 32 years ago today I met the best thing to ever happen to me. I’m forever proud of you and honored to be your dad. You’re smart, funny, talented, hard working, and most importantly, you care about others. So here’s hoping your birthday is as amazing as you are. Love you forever, kiddio! ❤️ by @brettsbaker

Do yourself a favor and Google “how squirrels land.” Go ahead, I’ll wait. 🐿️💥
Turns out they’re not just looking for nuts—they’re saving the neighborhood. Since they won’t admit it, I decided to help them reveal their secret identities. Swipe to see the real Avengers.

PS: I really need a job. Someone please hire me. I promise I won’t do this at work. 😂 by @brettsbaker

“You Want details? Fine. I drive a Ferrari, 355 Cabriolet, What’s up? I have a ridiculous house in the South Fork. I have every toy you could possibly imagine. And best of all kids, I am liquid.”

Not so fun fact:

Nebraska football’s last national championship is now closer in time to the first moon landing than it is to today.
