🍂 🍺 Fall Beer Festival 🍺 🍂

@kingsroadbrewing is hosting its fifth annual Fall Festival and Concert at The Feed Mill in Medford this Saturday, October 17, from noon to 9pm. Admission is free, and the event goes on rain or shine.

🎶 Six live acts will perform on the Feed Mill stage, starting with The Loan Rangers at noon and closing with Later Skater Band at 7:30pm.

🍔 Craft vendors, food trucks and games will be on the grounds all day.

🏪 Main Street merchants are running live music and activities downtown, according to the brewery.

🍺 At 5pm, the 2026 NJ Steinholding Championship takes the stage, run by Kings Road Brewing with the US Steinholding Association. Qualifying heat winners from across the state compete for the title and a trip to nationals, with a shot at $4,000. taken in Medford, New Jersey by @brewedat

🏆 GABF MEDALS 🏆

Philly area breweries made some noise at the 2026 @greatamericanbeerfestival awards in Denver on Sunday, with three bringing home medals out of 336 awarded to 243 breweries and cideries nationwide.

🥇 @wishfulthinkingbeer in Bethlehem, PA took gold in the Brett Beer category for On Any Given Day. The brewery is known for pale lagers, hoppy ales and square pies crafted from local agriculture.

🥈 @kanebrewing in Ocean Township, NJ took silver in Juicy or Hazy Pale Ale for Sneakbox.

🥉 @mudhenbrew in Wildwood, NJ earned bronze in British Strong Ale or Aged Beer for Wee Heavy Wilson.

🍺 NEW TAPROOM 🍺

@losttimebrewco is opening a second taproom in Philadelphia at 1519 Ridge Avenue in Francisville, near Fairmount. The space is the former home of Our Town Brewing.

The brewery announced that it is putting the final touches on the space, with a grand opening weekend set for October 16-18. More details are expected to be shared ahead of the opening. taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @brewedat

PA’s Only Sake Brewery Just Opened “The Sakade” in Easton 🍶🕹️

Sango Kura @sangokuradwg , Pennsylvania’s first and only sake brewery, has opened a new venue in downtown Easton called The Sakade @the_sakade

The space is a craft sake and beer bar with an arcade, pinball and axe throwing. Axe throwing is run by Skeggy’s Axe House, which operates inside the venue. Guests can also pour their own beer and order pizza.

🍺 🚨 NEW BAR 🚨 🎮

The old Naked Brewing taproom at 212 Mill Street in Bristol Borough is getting a second life. Level Up Arcade + Bar (gottolevelup ) is going into the space, built by Chris Kinsey, a Richboro dad who put the whole concept together with his three sons after the taproom closed in June.

Behind two bars, one downstairs and one up, they are pouring craft beer from local breweries including Broken Goblet Brewing , @spacecadetbeer and @conshohockenbrewing , plus cocktails, mocktails, wine and a gourmet milkshake bar.

The floor holds more than 30 pinball and arcade games, a gaming nook with retro Nintendo and Sega consoles, a private event space with a projection screen and outdoor patio seating. The kitchen runs street corn dip, smashburgers, beer battered cauliflower, hand cut fries, wings and tacos, with two dishes named for Kinsey’s late mother, Nan’s Mac + Cheese and Nan’s Meatballs + Sauce. 🍺 NEW TAPROOM 🍺

McCall Collective Brewing opens its downtown Allentown location this Thursday, September 17 at 11:30am. It is the third spot for Chris and Kaitlin McCall, who started the brewery in Allentown back in 2020.

The new space sits at 732 Hamilton Street directly across from PPL Center, in the former Bru Daddy’s building. On the menu: wood fired pizza, a full bar, and McCall beers, with indoor and outdoor seating, a beer garden, and a private event space.

🚨NEW BAR🚨

The Still on State opened September 5 at the historic Doylestown Inn, a new indoor and outdoor bar from the team behind The Hattery Stove & Still. @hatterydoylestown

The drink program leans on the spirits the Hattery distills in house, alongside a beer, wine and spirits list sourced entirely from Pennsylvania. There is seating for up to 60 when the weather cooperates, with heaters for the cooler nights ahead.

🐈 CAT & BEER EVENT 🍻

Kegs for Cats is back at @philadelphiabrewing on Friday, September 18 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, the annual benefit for Philadelphia’s community cats.

Your ticket covers complimentary beer and cider, kitten cuddling with adoptable kittens from @morrisanimalrefuge , food from Tokio Sushi, desserts from Matthew Alan’s Tasty Treats, and raffles. @kittyrottenband and Steve Morrison MC the night. Bring cat food donations and you get free raffle tickets.

Every dollar raised goes to Mac’s Fund to support the community cat program at @morrisanimalrefuge , the Philadelphia shelter founded in 1874 with a 98 percent save rate.

🍺 🚨 NEW BREWERY 🚨 🍺

When @eightsandbeer closed in Woodbury this June after roughly a decade, Colleen Gibson and John Wagner decided the building should not go dark. The Woodbury couple bought it, and they plan to reopen it this fall as @freckled.jawn.brewing

The name came from their basement bar at home. Behind it hangs a sign reading “The Freckled Jawn Tavern,” named for John’s nickname for Colleen, and the couple’s two dogs both have freckled coats.

They are putting about $40,000 into the space: dim lighting, an electric fireplace, Philly sports decor, and an indoor tasting room built for 77 guests, plus an expanded back patio designed to hold 150 to 200 people with room for food trucks to park on site.
