The Power of Dreams. @honda‘s slogan couldn’t have been more true for me these last few weeks. I’ve always been a fan of the NSX since I was younger and regretfully didn’t get a chance to get one before the prices started climbing. I stumbled across this 2 owner, ‘91 NA1 listed on NSX Prime and immediately contacted the owner to learn more about the car, its history, etc. The owner shared that he purchased the car 12 years ago from a gentleman named Ken Sax. This went over my head initially, but after researching, turns out Ken is an absolute LEGEND in the NSX community. From being featured in Car and Driver 2008 to having Shigeru Uehara‘s signature on the glove box, this car has some pretty cool history alongside it. Long story short, after a few days of communicating, I book my flight to Chicago to meet the owner and a week later, here we are with the car back home in Houston. Beyond thankful that Warren gave me the opportunity to own this car, as it wasn’t all about money at this point. Here’s to my forever partner. I’ve been blessed to have someone be so supportive of my hobbies and putting up with me overtaking the garage, living room space, attic, with random parts. Had a blast in Houston this weekend with a bunch of car activities! From Cypress Cars and Coffee, to stumbling upon a Hot wheels car show down the street, to 7's day event in the evening on Saturday. A few have asked why I was letting go of the CL9 and what’s next? Well, when you have a wife that lovingly talks your ear up trying to convince you to get a wagon, showing you wagon for sale listings, and then realize you don’t have 100k to drop on a RS6 Avant, you ignore the idea of getting a wagon. Fast forward to last month and this 2011 CW2 Sport Wagon pops up locally, which concreted my decision to make the switch. My only regret? Not getting into one sooner.
