After a decade hiatus, I was crowned 1st Runner Up, I’m so thankful for the @_triumphtalk family for this wonderful new competition @misstriumphantpageant 🌟 I haven’t felt that confident in myself in so long. @realtaliyahmcgee you have created something so amazing and am so grateful for all you do and to have been a part of it. I know I was a bit of a headache getting here, but you continue to always help me through and give the best advice, support, and encouragement. Congratulations to all involved and our new title holders! 👑🩵

B.S Communication Arts concentrating in Media Management, Class of 2023👩🏽‍🎓

During my time at @stjohnsu I was met with many hardships. Just to name a few, I lost many family members including my brother and grandma “For You I Did” 🕊️🤍, I was in a bad car accident, I was hospitalized my freshman year and had to take a medical leave of absence, the global pandemic halted half of my time in college, and I was taking the max amount of credits almost every semester including some summers. As life kept happening, I realized I needed to continue and push through. Life would just keep coming and I would never achieve my goals if I waited. I took advantage of almost every opportunity that came my way during my time in university. This helped keep me focused and on the path of finding myself and what I enjoy. I was crazy busy especially these last two years, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I gained so much knowledge, experience, and happiness (even with the stresses I had too). I always tell the story of my college decision; I was set on committing to another school all the way until a week before decision day. While in Costa Rica, after discussing colleges with friends, I had a dream of me graduating college and I saw myself on the Great Lawn at St. John’s University and I’m proud to say four long, very hard, yet rewarding years later, on Sunday, May 21st 2023, that dream became a reality 🥹❤️ taken in St. John's University by @bri.michelle
